After our compact and bijou Cowshed, the new premises felt like a palace. A proper showroom, two office spaces and plenty of storage and manufacturing space, we lived like Kings!

In 2016, we celebrated 10 years in the business, with many customers past and present joining us for an open day celebration - even the Mayor popped along to offer his support and cut our birthday cake!

How To Make Your Kitchen Look And Feel Better With These Easy Decor Swaps

The Better Kitchens' story kicked off in 2006 with the opening of our first Showroom in convertedcow sheds on a small Somerset farmsite. Our first job was some major building works to create a small but luxurious showroom area, as well as some functional office space. Shortly after our building works, the site became a small light industrial complex as several other artisan workshops opened next door.

Our vision for the business wasan online kitchen retailer, selling to the public, but without the high pressure sales techniques found in the rest of the industry. We aimed tobreak the mould inan industry that traditionally relies on hard selling techniques, both in store and in the home.

With a small initial staff of two brothers, we steadily built up a reputation amongst our customers and suppliers as a company that thinks outside the box.
